Ingredients
- Cooked rice: 2 bowls
- Frozen edamame: About 50g (shelled)
- Salted kombu (shio kombu): 2–3 teaspoons
If you don’t have this you can use konbu and salt - Sesame oil: 1 teaspoon
- White sesame seeds: 3 teaspoons
Instructions
- Defrost the frozen edamame according to the package instructions and remove the beans from the pods.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked rice, edamame, salted kombu, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Mix well until evenly combined.
- Wet your hands lightly with water and sprinkle a little salt (optional). Shape the rice mixture into balls.
