Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cook the soba: Boil a large pot of water and cook the soba noodles according to the package instructions, usually about 4-5 minutes.
  2. Cool with water: Drain the cooked soba in a colander and rinse it under cold water to remove excess stickiness.
  3. Season: Transfer the cooled soba to a bowl, add sesame oil and salt, and mix well.
  4. Prepare vegetables: Cut your choice of vegetables into thin strips.
  5. Roll: Spread the seasoned soba onto a sheet of nori, then place the sliced vegetables on top. Lift the edge of the nori and roll it tightly.
  6. Cut: Once rolled, slice it into bite-sized pieces.
  7. Serve: Serve with soy sauce on the side, and enjoy!

Point

  • Drain the soba thoroughly. After boiling the soba, rinse it under cold water and make sure to drain it well. Excess moisture will make it difficult to roll.
  • Let the roll rest for a while after wrapping. Allowing it to rest before cutting will help stabilize its shape, making it easier to slice.
